Three cars belonging to priests set on fire
On August 21, 2023, a 35-year-old man set fire to three cars belonging to priests in Gliwice. The cars were parked near the Church of Christ the King on Okrzei Street and the Parish of the Holy Family on Chorzowska Street. According to the police, the arsons were deliberate.
Eyewitnesses claim to have seen an arsonist who first wanted to set fire to the Church of St. Christ the King. "I saw an arsonist trying to start a fire at the church door. He failed, then he went for the car that was parked against the wall of the church. He did it on purpose!", a witness told the media.
