Statue of Mary stolen
A statue of Mary, placed in the niche of the foyer of Saint François-Régis in Saint-Julien Chapteuil in Haute-Loire, was stolen on 21 August.
The statue had been there for several years and was of great religious value to the parishioners. The parishioners are appealing for it to be returned to the parish.
In the meantime, Father Martin, the parish priest, lodged a complaint with the gendarmerie on Monday.
