Priest attacked outside a church
After the Sunday mass on April 24 in Saint-Emilien church, Nantes, a young girl physically attacked an elderly priest of the SSPX fraternity shouting ‘no to the Freemasons’.
While the priest was talking to members of the congregation near the outside staircase, she kicked him violently in the groin and ran away. One of the parishioners chased her through the surrounding streets and alerted the police.
This young girl was said to have been verbally aggressive towards members of the congregation and SSPX priests, whose cassock particularly irritated her. This was the first physical assault.
