Church break-in: Windows Smashed and Liturgical Objects Stolen
On August 26, someone broke the windows of an old church in Helsinki's Oulunkylä in the early hours of the morning and stole silver objects.
After breaking the windows, thiefs broke into the church's safe and stole from it at least a communion plate, a bread plate and a communion vessel. They also stole several bottles of communion wine and probably something else.
There is a CCTV system outside the church. Police are continuing to investigate this crime.
