6th Vandalism incident at church in Høvik
Høvik Church in Bærum has been damaged by vandals several times. Many stones have been thrown at the church windows and there has also been a break-in at the parish house opposite the church.
A large stone was left on the floor after being thrown through one of the stained glass windows. The church service had to be rescheduled.
According to the local pastor, this is not the first time this has happened. Since May, there have been six incidents of vandalism and littering in and around the church. "The police are aware of the vandalism," Bjarne Pedersen, head of the operations department of the Oslo police, confirmed to NRK.
