Tabernacle damaged and sacristy ransacked in Hambach church
Unknown perpetrators broke into St. James Catholic Church in Hambach, damaged the tabernacle and broke off the wooden panelling. They also ransacked the sacristy. Only one music box is missing, but extensive damage has been caused to the church.
The perpetrators completely ransacked the sacristy. Dean Michael Paul explains that the robbers apparently spent a lot of time in the church as well. As far as we know so far, almost nothing has been looted, only the music box is missing.
