Several graves vandalised in Coron
During the night of 15 to 16 January, several graves in the cemetery of Coron (Maine-et-Loire) were vandalised by unknown persons. The plaques were broken and the marble slab on top of one grave was smashed.
As there was no reasonable explanation for this act, the mayor described it as 'pure and simple vandalism'. Following complaints from several families, the police are now investigating the case.
