San Fernando Cemetery Vandalised
On 10 September, the San Fernando cemetery in Seville was the scene of vandalism. More than 60 graves were damaged during the night, with crosses and gravestones overturned and even some coffins damaged. Nothing was stolen.
Locals and relatives of those buried in the cemetery are very shocked by these acts and wonder why such things are done.
The city plans to install cameras and increase security to prevent future incidents.
