In a troubling series of events, the St. Martin's Church in Siegen, Germany, was vandalised twice within 24 hours. On the evening of August 29, 2025, intruders tore a water hose from a sink, flooding the church’s basement. Just one night later, on August 30, a witness alerted authorities after discovering graffiti on a church door. The damage is estimated to be in the low four-figure euro range. Police are investigating both incidents and have appealed to the public for information.
