Extremist Video on Church Vandalism Incites to Violence Against Christians
A video circulated online promoted deliberate vandalism against Christian sites in Vienna and incited violence against an upcoming Christian pro-life march.
The incident was reported on 3 October 2025 and concerns a video titled “Making the March for Life A Disaster,” published by a group identifying itself as “Queerfeminists.” The footage shows the preparation of improvised paint projectiles using Christmas ornaments filled with red paint, which were then thrown at the façade of the Paulanerkirche. The resulting damage visually resembled spilled blood on the church exterior.
The video also documents additional acts of vandalism in the surrounding area, including graffiti reading “Fundis abtreiben” (“Abort fundamentalists”) in Rüdigergasse.
Beyond documenting vandalism, the video explicitly calls for violent action against a Christian pro-life march scheduled for October. This element goes beyond property damage and constitutes incitement to disrupt a religious gathering.
The combination of targeted vandalism against a church, hostile messaging directed at Christian groups, and calls to act against a religious event indicates a clear ideological dimension.
