Knife-Wielding Man Threatens Worshippers in Rennes Chapel
A man armed with a knife threatened worshippers inside a chapel in Rennes, disrupting those present during a religious gathering. The individual was restrained by attendees and later arrested.
The incident occurred on 6 July at around 10:30 in the Chapelle Saint-François. According to reports, a man entered the chapel while intoxicated and began behaving erratically. When worshippers asked him to leave, he produced a knife and threatened those present.
Three individuals intervened, disarmed the man, and restrained him until police arrived. The suspect was subsequently taken into custody.
An investigation has been opened, and the three individuals involved have filed complaints.
